Mrs. Jay Kimberly “Kim†Rollins White, 60, of Lebanon, Tennessee, passed away Monday April 29, 2024, at her home, surrounded by family and friends.
Mrs. White was born May 7, 1963, in Smith County, Tennessee, to the late Mr. J.C. Rollins and Mrs. Fay Langford Rollins.
Kim was a 1981 graduate of Smith County High School. She went to work as the deputy court clerk in Wilson County, Tennessee, working in the Circuit Court and the County Court and retired after having served in that position for 20 years. Mrs. White was a member of Westland United Methodist Church.
Kim loved softball. In her spare time, she would watch whichever game she could find on television. She played for many years until her health prevented her. Kim not only played the sport but coached numerous local teams. Perhaps the thing she loved more than softball was her family. Family, and close friends were very important to her. She loved life and was an excellent wife, mother, daughter and friend. Kim will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She leaves behind her loving husband of 28 years, Jay White; sons, Christopher Ross (Michelle) Eskew and Jay Hayden (Caroline) White; mother, Fay Langford Rollins; grandchildren, Jackson, Oakley and J.T. Eskew; sisters, Sandra Weatherford and Teresa (Rick) Gross; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Funeral services were held Thursday May 2, 2024, from the Lebanon Cumberland Presbyterian Church (522 Castle Heights Ave., Lebanon, Tennessee, 37087). Bro. Todd Elliott officiated, and interment followed in the Caraway Cemetery in Gladeville, Tennessee.
Pallbearers were Cass Beasley, Tracey Langford, Jason Ford, Ritchie Langford, Barry Myers and Judge John Wootten.
